One thing I think is interesting is that there are two players on the Rockies team who spent time as backups to both Peyton and Eli Manning in college.

Of course everyone knows Todd Helton, who started ahead of Peyton before hurting his knee, and Peyton never looked back.

Seth Smith was also a QB on the Ole Miss roster when Eli Manning was there.
